5 days of Eat, Sleep, Live Circus!
Monday August 10 to Friday August 14
Let's Circus are hosting a five day summer circus camp for youth and community circus fanatics. With Big Tops, marquees, circus rigs, specialist equipment and some great trainers our countryside location will be the place to be for a week of real circus with great people.
Expect a full daily programme of shows, workshops, training, socialising and play! This is designed as a place to come to learn a higher level of circus and work intensively towards developing great new skills.
It's a camping festival, so you must bring what you need to survive 5 days in the outdoors in Northumberland. Be Prepared. It will be in tents. Be prepared and it won't be intense.
Our beautiful site is very near to Alnmouth Train Station and just a short trip away from the gorgeous white sandy beaches of Warkworth and Amble. 40 minutes from Newcastle, we plan to arrange a liftshare from these places closer to the event.
Prices are expected to be £120 for the week per participant, and the event is aimed at circus enthusiasts with an existing skill level in one or several of the following areas:
acrobatics, adagio, tumbling, aerial circus, juggling, manipulation, hoop, unicycle, fire arts, spoken performance, dance, clown. We are currently taking submissions from teachers interested in being involved, and adult volunteers. Please get in touch if that's you.
